This project is a Necklace that you take home at the end of class.
Kumihimo is Japanese braiding, is often combined with cords and beads
to make beautiful jewelry.
The term Kumihimo in the Japanese language means the gathering of threads.
The literal translation of kumihimo means the ”coming together (kumi)
of threads (himo)”.
Wire Crochet
Learn how to complete a single crochet stitch
with a crochet hook to create chains with wire
which incorporate beads in your design.
The project is a necklace featuring this wire
crochet technique in your choice of metal tones.
Free Form Wire Wrapping
There are many styles of wire setting, this class will focus on freeform with or without embellishments. This class will teach you the process of designing and creating the perfect setting, unique to each stone.
You will be instructed how to create a pendant setting, complete with bail, in your choice of metal tones. With your chosen focal stone, you will be taught how to approach the design process, work up a design and proceed to bring your ideas to life.

beaded wire wrapping. You will be instructed how to create a pendant setting,

This class will teach you how to turn beads, buttons or any object with a hole into a wire ring.
You will be instructed how to create a one of a kind ring in your choice of metal tones.
Learn how to weave a decorative wire band which will be transformed to hold your focal bead.
